The Decision 

Year 2550, A Great Disaster Has Just Ended. Three-Fourth Of The World Population Has Died. Important Infrastructures Have Been Destroyed Into Dust. In The Past Several Years, Many Things Happened. The Earth Is Not A Suitable Place For Living Anymore. But We Have Nowhere To Go. The Mars Mission Have Greatly Failed. Astronomers Said That A Big Asteroid Is Coming Towards Us. We Want To Live Or Leave. Professor Iqbal, The Most Renowned Scientist Of Trinitri Nation Has Called A Meeting With All Renowned Scientists All Over The World Who Are Alive. Education All Over The World Has Been Stagnant For About 10 Years. The Whole Process Wasn’t Easy. Iqbal Took A Time Of 3 Days. He’ll Start Working With As Many Of Them Reaches Within Time. 

Mr. Iqbal Steps Into The Conference Room. He Looks At The People Sitting In The Chairs. He Feels The Darkness Of Their Minds Just By Looking At Their Eyes. He Feels The Pain Of These Intellectuals Who Were Supposed To Live A Luxurious And Peaceful Life. “Nature Is Never Fair”, He Sighs. 

Iqbal Didn’t Expect To See 185 Faces In The Notification Of Just 3 Days. He Smiles And Leans Over The Microphone, “My Fellow Brothers And Sisters, We All Know Why We Are Here. Unity Is Now The Only Option Now. The Trinitri, Soviet, Quanjidong and Oceania Nations Doesn’t Matter. This Planet Is No More Divided Into 4 But United Into Only 1 Nation. Earth Needs A Saviour. We Are The Saviour. We Are The Leaders Of A New World.” A Chant Is Heard Which Is Full Of Grief. Habib Knows That No One Will Now Protest About This Decision And He Is Their Undisputed Leader. They Sit For A Long One Week and Reaches A Plan. They Get Divided Into 2 Groups, One Group Of 100 People Will Be Packed In A Life Capsule Made Of Tetherium, The Strongest And The Only Organic Element On Earth. They Will Be Released In A Space In A Spacecraft In Which They Will Sleep For Up To 100 Years. After They Wake Up, They Can Live There Up To 200 Years And Come Up With A New Solution On The Basis Of The Situation Of That Time. They Will Take Most Of The Resources Of Earth That It Still Has In It For This Mission. The Rest 85 People Will Stay On Earth And Try To Defend Her And Control This Mission. Iqbal Wanted To Stay. But The Scientists Insisted That This Great Leader Should Live Longer. Professor Stewart, The Best Scientist Of The Oceania Nation Is The One Who Proposed It. So, Now He Is The Head Of The Mission. 

Professor Iqbal And Others Go Into The Capsule 2 Days Before The Mission’s Execution. Professor Iqbal’s Capsule Is Kept Right Before The Observer Monitor. He Goes Into The Capsule. He Has Several Life Capsule Mission Experiences But This One Felt A Bit Different. He Went Into Deep Sleep With A Little Discomfort. It Has Been 3 Days Since The Satellite Was Launched. Iqbal Wakes Up With A Hard Bump In The Shuttle. He Looks At The Monitor. Something Is Not Okay. They Are Not In The Right Path. He Sees Something Glowing, Too Bright For His Eyes And A Loud Sound In The End. A Smile Lights Up The Corner Of The Lips Of Stewart. The Asteroid Is Now Very Weak and Changed It’s Path Due To The Clash With The Satellite. It Won’t Hit The Earth Now. “The decision was not easy, but worth it”, Iqbal Sighs Out. They Landed In The Earth Safely But Iqbal’s Capsule Exploded When The Satellite Re-Entered The Earth. All Other Scientists Were Safe And Sound And The Earth Is Again Green Now. They Still Honor The Great Leader And Their Saviour, Professor Iqbal.
